Courses, Classes and Sessions
I run regular painting classes at my Studio in Torness, Stratherrick, which is a half hour's drive from the centre of Inverness, easy to find, cosy and inviting.
PAINTING CLASSES
Currently - Watercolour
Improvers Evening Tuesdays 6.30-8pm
Beginners Evening Thursdays 6.30-8pm
Beginners and Improvers Afternoon- Wednesday 1.30- 3.30
April onwards Thursday or Friday afternoons- Times and days to be arranged
Beginners – General Artwork.- Drawing/ Oils/Acrylics
Classes are great fun-please book in advance - usually in blocks of 4-6 lessons but introductory lessons available. Materials provided. Small class-Maximum 5 people.
Cost:
Evening £50 per block of 6 lessons (£10 for a one off lesson)
Daytime £15 per person for a one off lesson (£12.50 in a block) or £75 per block of 6 lessons.
PAINTING WORKSHOPS
May 2010 - August 2010
MAY
OIL PAINTING for BEGINNERS/Less experienced.
Friday 14th May £35 per person. 1.30-4.30 approx
A fun session getting to grips with oil painting.
WATERCOLOUR FOR BEGINNERS
Monday 17th or Friday 21st May 10am-4pm approx.
£65 per person in very small group- absolute beginners welcome.
JUNE
OUTDOOR LANDSCAPE PAINTING ( Weather dependent- otherwise Studio based)
Thursday 3rd June
A full day watercolour painting in the local area- other media covered if required. £65 per person in small group, including lunch.
7th-10th June Various times available for tuition in small group.
Basic Highland Landscape Painting.
JULY
Thursday 1st-Monday 5th- various times and days available
Highland Landscape Painting on Holiday- Bookable course. Contact Ros for details. Accommodation can be arranged if necessary.
Thursday 29th-Monday 2nd August Highland Landscape Painting on Holiday-Bookable course. Contact Ros for details. Accommodation can be arranged if necessary.
Dates and details for Summer Courses flexible, to suit demand.
CHARGES
Individual Painting tuition £125 per day, £75 per person in group of 2, £65pp in group of 3, £45 in group of 4, £25 pp in group of 7-8 (These are from 10-4pm approx)
Shorter Sessions also available from £10 per person in group of 3 or 4, children half price.
PAINTING HOLIDAYS
These can be arranged, with or without accommodation. Please contact me for details.
Currently, days reserved for Painting holiday tuition are from Thursdays – Mondays, to avoid regular classes- but visitors are welcome to join regular classes if I have a space. (I am flexible over dates so just contact me and I’ll fit you in!)
